Is red-tape tying your business in knots?

  • The Crowded Lounge Venue and Art Gallery 127. Gilbert Street Latrobe, TAS, 7307 Australia (map)

A KaLIBA event to help you smooth the path for developing and expanding your business

One of KaLIBA's key roles is lobbying government on behalf of local businesses. The Association has listened to your concerns around streamlining government red tape and regulatory issues and is holding a business forum to provide an update on new reforms and put your issues at the top of the list for reform.

In this interactive session you have the opportunity to speak with other local businesses and share how red-tape has impacted your business and hear from Stuart Clues who has for several years been the voice for your concerns in the Tasmanian Government as Small Business Advocate and Red Tape & Regulatory Reform Coordinator.

Stuart is a passionate advocate for small business and has a strong track record in translating business owners concerns into tangible change at the government regulatory level, as well as intervening on specific issues put forward by individual businesses.

Be part of this discussion with Stuart, as he steps us through the changes made since the launch of “generational” small business regulatory reforms in late 2023, the progress that has been made and with input from Kentish and Latrobe business owners – the next set of red tape reduction priorities.

This is a session not to be missed for local business owners who want to grow and develop their businesses and meet regulatory requirements, but without being hampered along their path.
