Business benefits and support to make EVERY Kentish and Latrobe business thrive!

KaLIBA

Kentish and Latrobe Independent Business Association
(Pronunciation: Calibre.  /ˈkalɪbə/ – Noun: quality of character and excellence of ability)

  • KaLIBA supports EVERY business across the Kentish and Latrobe municipalities with free and paid memberships– from individual farmers, retailers, trades and new businesses, right up to our largest employers.

The KaLIBA Board has consulted widely with the local business community and developed five priority areas to meet the needs of the widest variety of local businesses and deliver programs and benefits to these businesses.

    These priority areas are:

Priority 1: Small business government regulation and process reform

Priority 2: Employment: skills, retention, recruitment, young people’s careers and entrepreneurship

Priority 3: Business resilience and adapting to change

Priority 4: Mobile and Internet infrastructure, online business capability, and cyber security

Priority 5: Communication, consultation, support services, local business networking, and lobbying

As a not for profit organisation with a volunteer Board and part-time CEO, KaLIBA cannot deliver these programs by itself and has partnered with key organisations to help it make these benefits available to all businesses across the Kentish and the Latrobe municipalities – with the vast majority being at no cost

As well as information on KaLIBA itself, this guide provides you with details on these partner programs, the business needs each one addresses, and how you can gain access to these services.

KaLIBA encourages all Kentish and Latrobe businesses to take advantage of these programs and services to enable them to thrive in the dynamic environment and issues faced by every business.

  • KaLIBA represents and supports EVERY business across the Kentish and Latrobe municipalities, regardless of industry, size, or location

KaLIBA is independent while collaborating and cooperating with all tiers of government, industry associations, and other relevant organisations

KaLIBA is focused on the needs of all local businesses to support their wellbeing and prosperity

KaLIBA delivers business support, engagement, education, promotion, lobbying, networking, and mentoring

KaLIBA engages with all Kentish and Latrobe businesses to create a united voice that fosters increased economic activity, for the benefit of businesses and communities
